JBL - DARE TO SING
The Philippines has always been the birthplace of great and powerful vocals that wows the whole world. With JBL Professional, we can showcase Filipino talent at Las Vegas, Nevada. To kick off the summer season, JBL is inviting you to dare to sing in the most awesome singing contest yet, in a bid to be crowned JBL Superstar and win an all-expense-paid trip to Las Vegas and a lot of other amazing prizes.

Entry Period: May 13 - June 12, 2022
Eligibility: The contest is open to all above the age of 18, with a passport that is valid until June 2023.
Submission Material: Customers are entitled to join the contest with a video submission of a maximum of 5 minutes that is posted in either Facebook and/or Tiktok with the hashtags #JBLDareToSing #JBLRoadtoFest #JBLConcept Store, #JBLPH, and contestants have to sign up to the registration form (https://bit.ly/JBLDareToSing2022).
Mechanics:
Phase 1 - JBL Dare To Sing
1. Submission of entries is from May 13 - June 12, 2022.
2. Contestants are entitled to join the contest with the following requirements: above the age of 18, with a passport that is valid until June 2023, and that they have to go to any of our selected JBL Concept Stores and other affiliate stores available nationwide and film themselves singing to ANY song.

3. Entries should be posted on ANY of the following social media platforms: Facebook and/or TikTok, with the hashtags #JBLDareToSing #JBLRoadtoFest #JBLConcept Store, #JBLPH. The social media profiles of the contestants and post itself must be set public and active until the announcement of winners.
4. Contestants have to sign up to the online registration form (https://bit.ly/JBLDareToSing2022). Contestants have to input their complete name, email, contact number, complete address, age, store branch where they filmed themselves, the links of their video submission, and their passport validity.
5. Only one (1) entry per person.
6. The deadline of submission is on June 12, 2022.
7. All entries received via the registration link will be judged by a panel of judges composed of a representative from Harman Philippines, a representative from Beyond Innovations Inc.and a guest musician, and must be in the presence of a DTI Representative.
8. Contestants will be judged with the following rubrics:
Voice Quality (Tonality, Appropriateness to genre and technique) - 40%
Style and Performance (Rendition, Rhythm, Expression) - 30%
Overall Impact (Presence, Stage Appeal) - 30%
Total - 100%
9. These rubrics will be the 90% of the final total scoring of the winners.
10. Preliminary judging of Top 5 entries will be held on June 16, 2022, 9AM, in the presence of a DTI representative.
11. A total of 5 entries will be chosen and will have their entries posted on JBL Store Philippines’ Facebook pages. These 5 entries will be subjected to online and in-store votation to determine the winner of the contest, JBL Road To Fest.
Phase 2 - JBL Road To Fest
12. An online votation will be on a protected link (Online Voting Form) posted on a Facebook post. Voters will not be required to purchase any JBL product. Each data entered is to be counted as one (1) vote. The online votation will be 30% of the votation percentage.
13. An in-store votation will be at ANY of the JBL stores nationwide, and customers from Shopee and Lazada. Voters have to purchase any JBL item to receive a different protected link depending on their purchase bracket to put in their vote.
1 single receipt transaction amounting Php3,000 and below - one (1) vote
1 single receipt transaction amounting Php3,001 - Php5,000 - two (2) votes
1 single receipt transaction amounting Php5,001 and above - three (3) votes
Note: Purchases online (Shopee and Lazada) will be verified by the Online Team of Beyond Innovations while store purchases will be verified by the in-store employees.
This will be 70% of the votation percentage.
14. The total of the 2 votation processes will be the 10% of the final total ranking of the winners.
15. The votes gathered will then be added to the preliminary scores the Top 5 had with the judges.
16. Determination of the ranking of the Top 5 winners will be held on July 18, 2022, 1PM, at the Beyond Innovations Inc. head office in the presence of a DTI representative.
17. All employees of Beyond Innovations Inc. and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining this promo.
Prizes:
A total of 5 winners will be chosen. Each winner will have the corresponding prizes based on their ranking. The prizes are:
Top 5 - JBL Live Pro+ TWS
Top 4 - JBL Live Pro+ TWS
Top 3 - JBL Live Pro+ TWS
Top 2 - JBL Live Pro+ TWS
Top 1 - Two (2) pax to JBL Fest at Vegas (USD7,500 per person);all-expense-paid trip to Las Vegas + one (1) JBL Live Pro+ TWS
Prizes validity: 6 months from the receipt of travel voucher
Tax (including 20% withholding tax for prizes exceeding P10,000.00) and other expenses that will be incurred in relation to the prize shall be shouldered by the Harman International.
Winner may claim his/her prize at Beyond Innovations Inc. Main Office, 2nd flr. Topy Bldg. IV Topy's Place.3 Economia St, cor Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
To claim the prize, winners must present 1 valid ID, preferably passport.
If claiming through an authorized representative, present an authorization letter, a copy of the winner’s valid ID, and the representative’s ID.
Prizes should be claimed within sixty (60) days from the receipt of registered notice or it will be forfeited in favor of Beyond Innovations Inc. with prior approval of DTI.
Timeline:
- Determining of the top 5 entries via the judges’ rubrics will be on June 16, 2022, in the presence of a DTI representative.
- Facebook announcement of the top 5 entries and the instructions on how to vote for these entries will be on June 17, 2022.
- Online and in-store votation to determine the remaining scores of the top 5 entries will be from June 17 (12:00 AM) - July 18 (12:00 NN), 2022.
- Final counting for the ranking of the Top 5 entries will be on July 18, 2022 (1:00PM), in the presence of a DTI representative.
- Facebook announcement of the ranking of the top 5 entries will be on July 18, 2022. (5:00 PM)
All winners will be contacted via registered mail and SMS with the instructions on how to claim their prize, and their names will be posted at the official Facebook page of JBL Philippines and JBL Store PH.
The prizes of the Top 2 to 5 are not convertible to cash but transferrable. Winners must notify Beyond Innovations Inc. of any transfers at least 3 days prior to claiming their prizes.
